The Rector of the University of Cadiz, Francisco Piniella, accompanied by the Vice Rector for Students and Employment of the UCA, Manuel Sánchez, and the General Director of Access and Guidance of the UCA, Rodrigo Sánchez, today presented the University Entrance and Admission Exams (PEvAU) 2023, formerly known as Selectividad, whose ordinary exams will be held next week on the four campuses. A total of 7,219 students from 136 schools in the province will take the exams in the 16 venues that make up the complex logistics arranged by the UCA. Specifically, 1,269 people will take the exams in Algeciras, 1,917 in Cádiz, 1,841 in Puerto Real and 2,192 in Jerez. The event will take place between 13 and 15 June.
The entrance exams will be held with the security measures required for these exams to be held in a safe space, with a security coordinator, a specific action plan for each venue, general prevention and security measures at all entrances and recommendations for security distances. In this way, access to each venue will follow the same system that has been applied in recent years, a colour-coded route, and each student will occupy the same place to take the exams and will follow the same route in and out. On the other hand, the extraordinary exams will be held in July (11th, 12th and 13th) so that the entire pre-registration and enrolment process can be completed before September.
