More than 12,230 students from 131 centres in the province will take part in the X Orientation Days of UCA 3 April 2018
With the slogan ‘The force resides in you’, it will take place in 7 locations from april 4th to 13th to inform about access, the offer of titles and their services to young people of A Levels and High level training Cycles of the province
Almost 87,000 students have attended this activity throughout this decade
12,237 students from 131 A Levels and High Level Training Cycles in the province of Cádiz will attend from April 4th to 13th in the X University Orientation Days of UCA, which, in this way, will tour seven localities of the province (Jerez de la Frontera, Puerto Real, Algeciras, Cádiz, Bornos, Sanlúcar de Barrameda and San Fernando) to inform about the entrance and admission tests to the university, the pre-enrollment process, the available scholarships and grants, as well as to explain the important offer of 44 degrees and 19 double degrees from the University of Cádiz for the 2018-19 academic year, including the diversity of services of UCA for the university community, among them as a novelty the new University Residence, which will be opened at the beginning of the academic year.
These X University Orientation Days, which include an intense program of performances with the purpose of advising on the access and the offer of degrees and double degrees to students of A Levels and of High Level Training Cycles. In addition, specific information on UCA services is provided: Library, Sports, University Extension, International Relations, University Residence, Social and Solidarity Action, Psychological and Psychopedagogical Attention, Higher Modern Languages Center and Disability Care Service.
In 2018, the Conference celebrates its tenth anniversary and, in order to carry out its mission, has the work of nearly 400 people, including teaching and research staff, administration and services, as well as the students of the 15 centers of UCA. In addition, the vice-rector of Students has highlighted “the support and collaboration” of the territorial delegation of Education of the Junta de Andalucía, of the city halls and of the more than 130 educative centers of the participating province. The contents of the Days are focused in two basic axes: the administrative action (management, tests and requirements) to study at the University, the Assessment Tests for Access and Assessment Tests for Admission to the University, and information on the offer of degree titles and doubles degrees of UCA, the pre-registration and its services. In parallel to these sessions, the Conferences also have an area of 16 exhibitors, where staff (deans, directors, teachers and students) belonging to the 15 centers of UCA will offer family and students detailed information about the teaching offer of the University of Cádiz in its four campuses and access to it.
