More than 1,200 registered participants, 250 speakers, 142 companies related to the sea, 53 research centres and universities, 61 administrations and 51 associations and NGOs will meet in Cadiz.

 

The Rector of the University of Cadiz, Francisco Piniella, the Andalusian Regional Government’s Minister for University, Research and Innovation, José Carlos Gómez Villamandos, the Mayor of Cadiz, José María González, and the Vice-Rector for Science and Technology Policy of the University of Cadiz, María Jesús Mosquera, presented the programme for the 2nd International Meeting on Knowledge and the Blue Economy, InnovAzul 2022, which will be held in Cadiz and which will bring together the most important companies, institutions, experts and professionals related to the strategic sectors linked to the Blue Economy to provide innovative technologies and solutions that increase the competitiveness and economy of society.

The University of Cadiz is organising InnovAzul 2022 in collaboration with the Campus of International Excellence of the Sea, CEI-MAR, the European University of the Seas SEA-EU and with the support of the Regional Government of Andalusia, the City Council of Cadiz and other administrations. More than 1,200 people have registered for the event (including scientists, professionals and students), and more than 250 speakers, 142 companies related to the sea, 53 research centres and universities, 61 administrations and 51 associations, non-governmental organisations and other members of civil society will take part. In addition, InnovAzul will have 60 stands of companies and institutions spread throughout the Palacio de Congresos de Cádiz and tables for bilateral meetings.
