The University of Cadiz displays its scientific-technical potential at ‘Transfiere 2023’

The University of Cadiz is showcasing its scientific-technical potential at the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation – Transfiere 2023, which is being held from today until Friday 17th at the FYCMA (Trade Fair and Congress Centre of Malaga). The programme of this international meeting includes the presence of more than 500 companies, entities and institutions driving R&D&I at international level, more than 400 experts who will present content of maximum interest for the sector, more than 80 thematic panels and more than 60 academic entities, including representatives from various universities and research groups.

Once again this year, the University of Cadiz will be actively involved in four sessions. The first of these, ‘R&D capabilities of Andalusian universities of business interest’, will take place tomorrow, 16 February, and will be attended by the Vice-Rector for Science and Technology Policy of the University of Cadiz, María Jesús Mosquera, who will focus her speech on the ‘Results of Proof of Concept 2021 projects’. Likewise, in the panel that will be held afterwards, entitled ‘Knowledge generated in the university as an engine for business development: University spin-offs’, moderated by the technician from the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) – Vice-rectorate for Science and Technology Policy of the UCA, Alejandra Brome, the researcher Ismael Rodríguez, head of the Thermal Engineering group (TEP-221) of the UCA and founding partner of THERMOECSA, will take part. Similarly, at the table ‘PAIDI AT17 funded projects: Meet some of their Research and Transfer Results’, which will take place on Thursday afternoon, will be present the researcher responsible for the Acoustic Engineering Laboratory group (TEP-195) of the UCA and IP of the project ‘Design and improvement of acoustic comfort of neonatal incubators; Neonatal Incubators Comfort Acoustic Class’, Ricardo Hernandez.
